This new system will be available for the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen and select limited express trains departing from Hakata Station, covering around 200 stations. Previously, passengers who booked tickets online still had to pick up physical tickets at the station, but this change aims to improve convenience and reduce congestion. The QR codes can be displayed using JR Kyushu\u2019s mobile app, and some stations will have separate terminals for scanning the codes where necessary.
