This decision follows concerns raised by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The budget allocates approximately \u00a526.74 million for preliminary surveys to assess the need for further research on the potential impact of earthquakes and tsunamis triggered by these faults. Additionally, \u00a5153.34 million has been earmarked for tourism development in collaboration with international travel agencies. This includes the creation of the &#8220;Yoka Bus&#8221; tour, which will offer bus tours around Fukuoka Prefecture, as well as the development of travel packages combining bullet train tickets and accommodations. These initiatives aim to attract international visitors to Fukuoka during the Osaka-Kansai Expo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the first time, the budget also explicitly includes about \u00a520.73 million for overseas study trips for prefectural assembly members.
