Global confectionery brand Pierre Herm\u00e9 is spearheading a new initiative, “My Sweet Nagasaki,” to revitalize Nagasaki City through the art of sweets. Led by Richard Ledu, CEO of Pierre Herm\u00e9 Japan, the project aims to enhance local pride, foster community engagement, and train future professionals in the confectionery field.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by Nagasaki\u2019s unique culture and history, which Ledu encountered during a visit in the pandemic, the project aspires to connect Nagasaki\u2019s charm with the next generation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative\u2019s first event is slated for March 2025 at Glover Garden. Highlights include desserts by Pierre Herm\u00e9 and local confectioners, live demonstrations by pastry artisans, and performances by Nagasaki-affiliated artists.
