Total households in Fukuoka are expected to decrease slightly to 2.26 million by 2050, while the average household size will drop below two people by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The increase in single-person households is attributed to rising unmarried rates and declining birth rates.
