At the Kyushu Economic Forum held in Fukuoka on March 12, attended by approximately 200 participants, Kyukeiren Chairman <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sumio<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Kuratomi highlighted ongoing high levels of semiconductor investment in the region, spurred by TSMC\u2019s entry into Kumamoto. Kyukeiren outlined three key priorities: accelerating the clustering of semiconductor-related industries, positioning Kyushu as a launchpad for domestic and international business, and establishing a science park to foster innovation through industry-academia collaboration. Keidanren Vice Chairman <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jun<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sawada expressed strong support, calling the region\u2019s semiconductor momentum a symbol of Japan\u2019s resurgence.
