This marks the company\u2019s first top-level leadership change in seven years. Nishiyama, 61, joined Kyushu Electric in 1986 and has held key positions including head of the international affairs office and corporate strategy. Since 2022, he has led the Energy Services Division as an executive board member. Speaking at a press conference, Nishiyama emphasized the importance of ensuring a stable power supply amid growing demand and long-term challenges. His appointment will be formalized at the June shareholders meeting.
