The route links the airport with Moji Port Retro District and Karato Terminal in Shimonoseki by boat. The first voyage carried tour groups from South Korea, offering a one-hour cruise passing directly beneath the Kanmon Bridge. According to Kitakyushu City, the service can save travelers about an hour compared to public transport while providing scenic value as a tourist experience.
