The average price rose to \u00a54,137 per kilogram, up from \u00a53,869 last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2024, Kagoshima overtook Shizuoka in production of \u201caracha\u201d (crude tea), becoming Japan\u2019s top producer with about 27,000 tons. As demand grows, shipments to retail outlets are expected as early as next week.
