This marks the 42nd consecutive year of surplus and a 16% increase from the previous year. Overall exports rose 6% to \u00a512.71 trillion, driven by a 15% increase in automobile exports. Imports fell 3% to \u00a510.65 trillion, resulting in a total trade surplus of \u00a52.06 trillion.
