According to police, the man purchased fake items\u2014including brands like Patagonia and Louis Vuitton\u2014from Chinese online sites and resold them in Japan at about twice the import price. He allegedly continued this operation from 2016 until June of last year, earning nearly \u00a518 million over eight years.
