The survey, which will span approximately two months, uses drone photography and laser scanning to create detailed 3D maps. Excavation will begin between June and July, focusing on the interior of the castle tower base, with restricted public access during the estimated six-month investigation. Additional studies will assess whether the foundation could have supported a tower, including ground strength and borehole testing.
