Among them, Okinawan artist Mako Ohama won the top prize for her kimono \u201cAfter the Rain,\u201d woven using the Shuri-based \u201croton-ori\u201d technique to capture the glow of sunlight following summer showers. Fukuoka-based <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tomoko <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kashima\u2019s award-winning ceramic bowl \u201cLight\u201d was praised for its layered glaze and radiating line design.
