This marks the first time such rice, acquired through non-competitive government contracts, is being sold in Kyushu. The rice, from the 2022 harvest, is priced at \u00a51,980 for 5 kg. Sales were not announced in advance to prevent confusion, and purchases are limited to one bag per customer.
