On June 19, six turbines\u2014each up to 200 meters tall and located one kilometer offshore\u2014were publicly unveiled to the media. The project plans to install a total of 25 large turbines, which, once operational, will make it the largest offshore wind power facility in Japan. The site\u2019s logistics hub, used for storing and assembling parts, was also shown during the media tour.
