The 11th vessel in the series was named &#8220;Tatsuta&#8221; by former Defense Minister Gen Nakatani. Following equipment installation, the ship is scheduled for delivery in fiscal 2026. Of the planned 12 Mogami-class frigates, 10 are being built in Nagasaki. Tatsuta measures 133 meters in length and 16.3 meters in width, and is designed to operate with a crew of about 90. Construction costs for the 11th and 12th vessels total approximately \u00a5116.6 billion.
