The boats escorted sacred objects from Okinoshima\u2019s Okitsu Shrine and Oshima\u2019s Nakatsu Shrine to Hetsu Shrine on the mainland, symbolizing the reunion of Munakata\u2019s three goddesses. The sea parade across the Genkai Sea lasted about an hour before arriving at KonominatoPort. The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">festival, celebrating maritime safety and abundant harvests, continues through October 3.
