The wide-angle mirrors, measuring 38.2 by 48.5 centimeters, allow passengers to see themselves and those behind them, making potential offenders aware they are being watched. Eight mirrors were installed\u2014JR Kyushu\u2019s first use of the measure\u2014following its proven success in the Fukuoka City Subway system.
