The aircraft, carrying three occupants, departed Saga Airport for Yao Airport in Osaka and later lost contact before being found crashed in forested hills. Police recovered the three bodies on 19 November and are working to confirm their identities while examining the wreckage. Investigators are reviewing the flight plan, which scheduled a two-and-a-half-hour flight with fuel for five and a half hours, along with weather data and airport surveillance footage. The board plans to enter the crash site from 20 November to analyse factors such as complex mountain airflows and whether a parachute system on the aircraft activated, aiming to determine the cause and recommend preventive measures. Source: KBC

Stay informed with the latest Fukuoka & Kyushu news and events in English.
