The Tenjin shop, known for dishes such as curry nanban soba and katsu curry soba, has seen long lines since announcing its closure. President Mihoko Obata, age 87, said she chose to retire and decided to close the restaurant after learning that the building\u2019s co-owner, Best Denki, would also shut down. Obata, who ran the shop with her late husband, said customers\u2019 appreciation supported the business over the years.
