A woman in her 70s suffered a minor injury after falling at home. Damage included fallen ceilings, collapsed walls, scattered roof tiles, and rockfalls that closed parts of local roads. By early November 26, the region saw 29 additional quakes of intensity 1 or higher, including an intensity-4 tremor later that night. Meteorological officials urged caution for about a week, noting past periods of active seismic swarms and warning of landslides and falling rocks in areas that experienced strong shaking. Source: <a href="https://www.pref.kumamoto.jp/soshiki/4/251922.html" rel="noopener" target=“_blank">Kumamoto Prefecture / <a href="http://fnn.jp/articles/-/965489" rel="noopener" target=“_blank">FNN

Stay informed with the latest Fukuoka & Kyushu news and events in English.
