Kagoshima recorded \u00a5179.9, the highest in Japan, followed by Nagasaki, Miyazaki, and Okinawa. Although government subsidies rose by a total of 10 yen per liter by November 27 ahead of the provisional gasoline tax repeal, regional prices have fallen only 4.5 yen since early November.
