At a preview on December 2, about 200 children and guardians explored the 1,750-square-meter indoor space, one of Kyushu\u2019s largest wood-themed play areas. Designed for infants to elementary-school-age children, it features slides and climbing structures made from domestic cedar and cypress. The facility was created in response to requests for a safe space for children to play during extreme heat or rainy weather. A caf\u00e9 run by a midwife will serve food and offer a social space for parents.
