Export volumes rose about 70% to an estimated 21,000 vehicles. The recovery followed a sharp drop a year earlier and came after the U.S. reduced additional auto tariffs in September to a combined rate of 15%. By port, exports rose 21% at Kanda Port in Fukuoka Prefecture and more than tripled at Hofu Port in Yamaguchi.
