The plan calls for demolishing Shin-Tencho, Parco\u2019s main and annex buildings, and part of the Nishitetsu Fukuoka Tenjin Station building, then unifying the east and west sites into a large mixed-use complex. At street level, a new shopping arcade will be created to connect Tenjin and Daimyo while inheriting the atmosphere of Shin-Tencho. The area\u2019s iconic clock tower will also be preserved in a redesigned form. The complex will include retail space, offices, a high-grade hotel, and cultural facilities such as a live music venue and museum. A new underground passage directly linked to Tenjin Subway Station is planned.
