The city allocated approximately \u00a552 million for the project, with construction scheduled to begin in November. About 1,000 square meters\u2014roughly one-third of the park\u2014will be paved with concrete and crushed stone around the park\u2019s central cycad tree. Curved surfaces and slopes will be installed to allow flexible course layouts. The facility will be enclosed by fencing and equipped with lighting for nighttime use. Skateboarding has grown in popularity since becoming an Olympic sport in 2021.
