The signing ceremony took place on March 10 at the Consulate General of India, which opened in the city last year. The Kyushu federation represents 78 chambers across Kyushu and Okinawa and said the agreement will strengthen coordination among regional businesses seeking opportunities in India\u2019s growing economy. Representatives from both organizations highlighted the importance of deeper Japan\u2013India economic cooperation. Officials also noted that India\u2019s complex business environment can make market entry difficult for small and medium-sized Japanese companies.
