The 27-meter, 30-ton vehicle had derailed during the foreshock and was removed from service. Its restoration coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Kyushu Shinkansen\u2019s full opening. The car departed a Kumamoto port in March and traveled to several ports across Kyushu before reaching Hakata on April 6.
