A redevelopment initiative in Fukuoka\u2019s Tenjin district is projected to generate an economic impact of approximately \u00a51.89 trillion, more than double a 2015 estimate, according to the Fukuoka Asian Urban Research Center. The increase reflects a higher-than-expected number of building projects under the \u201cTenjin Big Bang\u201d program, with 57 structures now planned compared to the original 30. Total additional floor space reached about 537,500 square meters, 1.7 times the earlier projection. Construction-related economic effects rose to \u00a5630.1 billion, also more than double the previous estimate. Employment impact grew modestly to around 59,550 jobs, as productivity gains through digitalization limited workforce expansion despite the larger scale of development.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
