Net profit rose to JPY85.4 billion as higher domestic interest rates boosted lending income, while core operating profit reached a record high for the sixth straight year. Despite concerns that instability in the Middle East could increase credit-related costs, FFG forecast net profit exceeding JPY100 billion in fiscal 2026. The company also reported strong demand for its locally focused Valley Card credit card, which reached about 100,000 applications by the end of March.
