At Obaru Beach in Nishi Ward, city officials used boats to examine seawater transparency, oil residue, and E. coli levels in waters around one meter deep, where swimmers typically gather. The inspections are conducted to confirm environmental safety before beaches officially open. According to the city government, all five beaches received the highest rating in last year\u2019s survey. This year\u2019s results are expected to be released on the Fukuoka City Environment Bureau website in mid-June.
