Six of the children were newborns less than one month old, including five under one week old, while one was a toddler. Five births reportedly took place at home, highlighting the ongoing issue of isolated childbirths without medical support. One child was left by a foreign mother visiting Japan, marking only the second overseas-related case since the facility opened.
