The discounts are part of a national support program introduced in response to rising energy costs linked to worsening conditions in the Middle East. For standard household electricity contracts, the reduction will be \u00a53.5 per kilowatt-hour in August and October and \u00a54.5 per kilowatt-hour in September. Based on the company\u2019s model household, monthly savings are estimated at \u00a5875 in August and October and \u00a51,125 in September. The discounts will be applied automatically to eligible electricity and gas customers, with no application or additional procedures required.
