The company reported on major initiatives from the previous fiscal year, including its first fare increase in 29 years and the full-scale introduction of automated train operations on the Kagoshima Main Line. Shareholders approved all management proposals, including the appointment of 11 directors led by President Yoji Furumiya. The company also confirmed an annual dividend of Y115 per share for the fiscal year ended March 2026, the highest in its history. JR Kyushu will mark the 10th anniversary of its stock market listing in October.
