Twenty-four members, including Japan Medical Association Honorary President Yoshitake Yokokura, discussed future initiatives linking human, animal, and environmental health to address challenges such as zoonotic diseases. The first action plan, introduced in 2021, led to projects including One Health education in prefectural high schools. The council will prepare an interim report before its next meeting in November and aims to finalize the new plan during the current fiscal year.
