The venture will develop and manufacture next-generation image sensors for smartphone cameras. Sony will invest \u00a5465 billion for a roughly 60% stake, while TSMC will invest \u00a5282 billion for about 40%, with development equipment and production lines installed at Sony Semiconductor Solutions\u2019 plant in Koshi.
