Launched on Aug. 31 with backing from nine investors, including Japan Post Bank and regional lenders, the 10-year fund will mainly target companies with EBITDA of about 50 million to 100 million yen. It has already begun its first investment in an apparel manufacturing and retail company. Dogan plans to increase corporate value through hands-on support, including appointing outside directors, with investment periods of three to five years.
