The overall rise was 0.9 percentage points smaller than last year. Residential land gained 2.1%, its 10th straight annual increase, while commercial and industrial land rose 4% and 6.4%, respectively. Higher construction costs and mortgage rates are prompting more people to postpone home purchases.
