The city attributes the growth in overnight stays to stronger nighttime attractions, including Sarakura\u2019s night views and Christmas markets, and its sushi-focused branding. Tourism spending increased 30.6% to about 127.99 billion yen, with overnight visitors spending roughly 25,000 yen each compared with 4,180 yen for day visitors.
