The orchestra effectively recorded ordinary losses for six consecutive years through fiscal 2024. Revenue rose \u00a560 million in fiscal 2025 as commissioned performances and other work increased, although investment in personnel remains necessary. Chairman Hisashi Goto said the goal was a sustainable surplus rather than a one-off improvement.
