The survey showed that more than 90% of the responding companies said they would suffer a decline in operating profits if the yen continued at a high rate. This is a sharp increase from the previous survey. Of the 28 companies that responded, 15 said that sales have not yet fallen, and another nine said that sales had declined by less than 10%.
