The \u201cKizuna\u201d ferry takes around 4.5 hours to reach Nagasaki Pref. from Hakata, and has a capacity of 678 passengers and 80 vehicles. The ferry\u2019s spacious interior contains seating and an elevator. Nagasaki Pref. funded the ferry\u2019s construction expenses to support development of the isolated islands and as a result, fares have been kept reasonable.
