All understood the difficulties faced by the people of Okinawa, where 74% of the American military facilities are located, but which accounts for only 0.6% of Japan\u2019s land area. Most support the military alliance, but most say the U.S.\u2013Japan treaty should be revised, and none are anxious to accept American troops in their prefecture.
