For the first time in two years, the Hakata Gion Yamakasa Promotion Association has released a Yamakasa Guide (in Japanese), in the lead-up to the 2012 Yamakasa Festival. The 80-page guide includes sight-seeing hints for the festival, the songs of Yamakasa and photos of Kazariyama, Kakiyama etc. 4,000 copies are available at Kushida shrine and selected book stores for \u00a5525.
