It was based on the premise of a Fukushima-type accident occurring at the Kyushu Electric Power nuclear reactors in Genkai-cho, Saga Prefecture. The training included evacuations by bus of residents of the city of Itoshima, located within a 30-kilometer radius of the plant, and Fukuoka City, located within a 50-kilometer radius of the plant.
