To mark the event, JR Hakata City has announced that not only will famous rugby player Ayumu Goromaru be modelling in the celebratory campaign, but 20 new shops (seven of which are completely new to Kyushu) will open within Amu Plaza, and 10 will be renovated. The shops will open one-by-one from late February, though all will be up and running by the end of April. The list of stores includes deluxe food store Dean &#038; Deluca (B1F), food and kitchen supply shop Kyushu Pancake Kitchen (B1F), locally grown fruit and veggie shop Yaoya no Kyu-chan (B1F); three of the shops which will be making their first appearance in Kyushu are sneaker store Sports Lab by Atmos (5F), eyewear shop SeeP Eyevan (3F), and baking and pastry supply store Tomiz (8F). Some of Amu Plaza\u2019s bathrooms will also be enjoying a makeover, including the ladies\u2019 washroom on the ninth floor which will receive Kyushu\u2019s first \u201cair shower\u201d &#8211; a booth which blows dust and unpleasant smells from your clothing.
