Demand among Chinese cruise lines continues to rise, with many new players entering the fray. Fukuoka\u2019s popularity is growing as a relatively close destination with excellent shopping opportunities. Next July, Costa Cruises, Europe\u2019s largest cruise line, plans to offer excursions from Fukuoka to Busan and back, stopping at various other Japanese ports, in an effort to expand its offerings to Japanese customers.
