Upon searching his home, they found 73 bicycles, including 19 which had been reported stolen to the police. Kawakami was arrested on the night of Nov. 8 for allegedly stealing a man\u2019s bicycle. The man noticed his bicycle was missing when he returned home for work, and when he checked the surrounding area, he noticed a suspicious individual and called the police. The police apprehended Kawakami, and when they searched his home, they found the man\u2019s bicycle there. Most of the bicycles recovered were high-end sport bicycles.
