The first such fund of its kind to cover the entire island of Kyushu, the fund will eventually reach up to \u00a55 billion. With an uptick in foreign visitors to Kyushu, the fund aims to provide support to companies in the tourism industry for investments in facilities renovations and other infrastructure. It can also be used for designing tours, creating hands-on events for tourists and building webpages.
