The system uses a combination of laser sensors, electric signboards and speakers to detect bicycles being ridden in no-ride zones, then instantaneously broadcasts video and audio messages that tell riders to \u201cpush your bike.\u201d \u00a0The system is currently being tested on two sections of sidewalk in Tenjin, in front of Parco and in front of Mitsukoshi, and the police aim to put it into practical use in the near future.
