The purpose of this change is to make it easy for the crowd to recognize and call out runner\u2019s names. Last year, the participants&#8217; registration numbers were large but their names were too small to read. The Fukuoka Marathon executive committee will recruit 3,200 volunteers for the event, beginning on May 1st. Marathon date: 11\/8 (Tue) rain or shine. Internet applications begin: 4\/20 (Mon) &#8211; 5\/22 (Fri).
